Kevin Christopher Snipes is the author of A Bitter Taste (Ensemble Studio Theater/Youngblood), The Chimes (SPF/The Public) and other plays. His work has been performed and/or workshopped at The New Group, New York Stage & Film, Berkshire Playwrights Lab, Moving Arts, Hippodrome State Theatre (Fl), Aurora Theater, Orlando Shakespeare Festival, and Gallery Players. He is the recipient of an Artists Fellow in Playwriting / Screenwriting from the New York Foundation for the Arts and an Alfred P. Sloan Screenwriting Fellowship. He holds a MFA in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University and is an alumni of the Public Theater’s Emerging Writers Group.
